Joe Tries place on the "pick-up picnic" tour can help to put this farm stand on the map and possibly help to raise awareness of locally grown organic crops. Although, this farm stand is mentioned on the Niagara Culinary Trail, it is still pretty much unknown. The purpose of this tour is to introduce tourists to the locally grown produce and local products in the Niagara Greenbelt Region and Joe Tries is the perfect example of a budding farm stand. In the fall, the trip to Joe Tries is rather scenic as the leaves are changing colour.
