Calamus Estate Winery resides in the heart of Niagara wine country, adjacent to the Ball's Falls Conservation Area. Their historic 19th century heritage barn is the setting for both the production area and retail outlet. The grapes for Calamus wines are from two vineyards, The Bartlett Creek vineyard and the Falls vineyard. The two are one hundered percent owned by the husband and wife team of Derek Saunders and Pat Latin, the owners of Calamus Estate Winery.
A 20-acre ravine flows behind the winery, and is a scenic spot for picnics, outdoor functions and hikes as it is adjacent to the famous Bruce Trail. With a total of 32 acres of vineyards located on two sites, Calamus Estate Winery grows a wide variety of grapes, producing a number of different wines.
