The Thorold & Beaverdams Historical Society was founded on May 29, 1894 and has been a member of the Ontario Historical Society since 1975. The Thorold & Beaverdams Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation, exploraton and promotion of the richly significant history of Thorold and area. 

Meetings are held on the last Monday of every month at 7:30 pm in Chestnut Hall, 14 Ormond Street north next to the library. Admission is free and a warm welcome is extended to all.  Call ahead just to check that the meeting is being held as planned.
